This is the “About Me” section of your blog … so let’s get to know you a bit. All right – what do you want to know?

I heard from someone that you like your iPod broken down into genres? I thought all iPod users had multiple genres and subgenres, until my best friend told me that normal people shuffle all their songs. There are no genres. Every once in a while when I want to get ‘crazy’ I listen to all of my songs on shuffle.
Wow. You like to get ‘crazy’… {smile}
What’s your favorite candy? M&Ms. And I think that they are best eaten in a specific color order (worst to best): brown, blue, red, orange, green then yellow.
What do you do? Right now I’m a student at the Academy of Art University in California.
But don’t you live in PA? Sure do! I’m completing my BFA in Photography online.
You didn’t want to commute? As much as I love to fly, I think that would be a bit inconvenient. However, I would gain 4 hours in each day flying to the opposite coast…
Why did you choose this field? Here’s the abbreviated story. I was diagnosed with Depression in June 2009. I had been suffering for many years, and it had gotten to a point where I didn’t care if I was alive. I went on medication, and after 7 months I started to feel like a new person – like a normal person. The opportunity came for me to go on a month long missions trip to South Africa to the 2010 World Cup. And I went! It was a pretty big deal because I was not only going out of the house, but across the world … without my Love. While there, I picked up my host brother’s DSLR and fell in love immediately. After I returned home, my Love and I started talking about what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. And Photography seemed like the obvious answer.
What sort of photography are you interested in doing? That’s a tough question. Right now I have two paths I’d like to take. One passion is Photojournalism. I’d love to travel and write and take pictures, with the hopes that they’d be published in magazines like AFAR, Conde Nast Traveler or National Geographic Traveler.
And the other one? Fashion Photography.
Oooohhh, like going to runway shows in Milan and Paris and New York? Yes! I’d love to be at those events, capturing the results of the amazing talent that designers possess.
Are you married? Yes, I am – for 12 years to my childhood sweetheart. Jonathan and I met when I was 9 and he was 10. It was at that time that I wrote in my diary, ”I’m in love with Jonathan…I have a feeling he’s the one for me…Someday I’m going to marry him.” And I did — 13 years later.
Awe – that’s so sweet! Why yes. Yes it is!
Do you have any kids? No, we don’t. {Unless you consider our crazy puppy, Charlie!}.
Would you like to have kids? Certainly! However, the chances of us having kids naturally are very slim.
What about adoption? Or IVF? We haven’t ruled out those options. But we don’t feel that is God’s plan for us right now.
You mentioned God…. Yes, I did. I’m a believer in Jesus Christ. I believe He died on the cross and rose again. He died for my sins, and I have chosen to accept His forgiveness and live my life for Him. It’s not always easy, but He has given me everything I need to live a life pleasing to Him.

I have to agree with you about the m&ms but thought the order to eat them was brown, blue, green, red, orange, yellow. Even though it is still hard to accept that there even is a blue m&m, the browns remain the first to go!
